Job Description
The Indiana Assistant Manager is the right hand man of the manager and the manager of the establishment. Its mission is to support them in carrying out their work by applying instructions and procedures. He is the intermediary between staff and Managers, and like them, he participates in team management, operational management and the profitability of the establishment.
Management of the establishment
- Open and close the restaurant
- Ensure that the establishment is in good condition during services
- Ensure a customer welcome and an irreproachable quality service
- Know the products in order to be able to sell them to the customer and transmit the right information to the teams
- Ensure the presence of staff, and their replacement if necessary
- Building customer loyalty
Management
- Train new waiters, bartenders and room clerks
- Participate in service briefings and debriefings
- Work in collaboration with the Manager and the Manager for a harmonious field team
Administrative and financial management
- Supervise the management of stocks and supplies
- Supervise the commercial and management of the establishment according to the objectives defined by the Managers and the management
- Conduct a restaurant inventory, analyze and explain variances for optimization
- Place orders according to the forecast of the activity
